A painting of an airplane taking off may seem everyday and mundane to some but this artist's fascination and excitement about mechanical objects with moving parts, wheels, levers, patterns and other things continues. Graef captures the view of a small aircraft taking off above a field with a lavender road going through it. There is a nicely added detail of an alligator there in the field which is a common site in some parts of Florida. Brilliant red, pink, shades of lavender and green against the bright blue sky make a beautiful composition. The edges of the painting are neatly finished with a neutral gray color. All the needed hardware is attached and the painting is ready to hang on the wall.
