Italian Routine Print

I am fascinated and inspired by the heritage architecture, old cities, dwellings, people, and life as I myself worked as an architect for many years. I an experienced photographer for more than 40 years, travel only for photography, and always wait for a good angle of light to achieve appropriate contrast, which helps in my paintings. However, this photograph was taken from Unsplash.com, and inspired me to paint, as the composition, angular lighting, etc. were appropriate for my taste. I use world-class materials, such as German make Schmincke Horadam professional watercolors in combination with Baohong 300 gsm/140 lb watercolor paper for quality as well as long life. Watercolor is spontaneous and unpredictable, therefore this medium challenges the painter to achieve and excel, through his knowledge and experience in handling the medium. Hope the viewers would experience the atmosphere in the artwork and appreciate the style.
