It's always difficult to explain your own creations. I find inspiration in everything around me, in what I see, in the people I meet, in music, in my childhood. To me the most important thing is to give emotions through my paintings: I don't paint what I see, It's what I feel that is the most important. My creation process can be complex and often the subject has very little importance. The subject is a pretext to start a painting and I always leave it to the viewer to make their own interpretation. I work in acrylic, which allows me to have more spontaneity and freedom. The backgrounds are worked with a combination of marble powder, wood ash, sometimes gauze collages as well as glaze technique.
