Japanese Secret Print

Veronika Krash was deeply inspired by Japanese traditions and history, specifically Geishas. There is much that people have learned about those beautiful women of arts, however, Veronika believes there are still many things that kept hidden. With my artwork "Japanese secret" she wanted to depict unique character that all geishas have : their elegance, beauty, and ability being a muse to anyone who asks. Most men who were inviting Geisha's to ceremonies did not do it because of their sexual needs, but instead because of the company that Geishas were able to give. They were always inspiring, charming, and motivating. Geishas were raised to be able to pleasure people using only their words, art craft and charisma. They never fail to surprise and inspire. Veronika hopes that her painting will help her viewers to feel unique and magnificent energy that Geisha on the painting demonstrates. Her kimono and obi are the key detail of this portrait, because without those attributes Geisha is not true Geisha. Portrait is done using oil colours, and some parts of kimono and hair decor are decorated with Swarovski crystals.
