Erin Schroeder was born in Pomona, CA, then grew up in San Diego. She sauntered up and down the West Coast in San Francisco, Oakland, Portland and San Diego developing her unique perspective and colorful expressions. She has a passion for art and culture and has traveled the world absorbing art culture, colors, styles and inspiration from all the amazing artists she’s met along her journeys. Erin received her BFA from The Academy of Art University, San Francisco, CA. "My approach is to mash, to juxtapose, to entangle things that normally clash when placed together on a canvas or in reality. I mix the feel of realism with unorthodox abstract elements, capturing conflict in my subject matter by merging the fantasy with reality." Heavily influenced by Under the sea creatures and colors. I let the Artwork dictate how it wants to be created.
