Kendall in Rose Print

Honestly, I was really intrigued to paint this image of Kendall, because she looked so effortlessly beautiful and relaxed. I also loved the texture of the leather jacket she's wearing and I had never painted leather before, so it was really exciting. I want the viewer to look at this and admire the beauty of the model and not story behind them. I know that celebrities are a difficult subject to admire especially if they don't have a good reputation, but that is not what this piece is about. This image was chosen solely on looks and not character. I chose to put a rose gold background because I think that rose gold is very soft and feminine and not as idolizing as a yellow gold. It also has a cool effect when hung in certain lighting. The gold becomes very reflective which contrasts well with the figure, but also ties in with light reflecting off of the jacket.
