ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This series is a charity sale. I donate 60% to my friend in need. The fist painting of the series “BREATH OF LIFE. SUNRISE” was “Oiseau de Paradis” (fr.: “Bird of Paradise”, it is a French name of a flower Strelitzia). This flower is a symbol of freedom, like a free bird in the air. This beautiful flower reminds us to let go of our worries and embark on a new adventure. Nothing can stop Life and Love. Yellow is the color of happiness and optimism, of enlightenment and creativity, sunshine and spring. After winter always comes Spring. Thank you for your support.

My name is Daria Tikhomirova and I live and work in Barcelona. I'm inspired a lot by silk and I mostly work with this fabric. I love its' softness, transparency. It made me think if silk paintings with 3D effect. You may find one in my profile, it's "Russian Seasons in Paris" with 5 ballerinas. There are two layers of silk that create this effect of third dimension. I love ballet and I have a series of works with ballet dancers. I participated in the Salon des Artistes Français in 2016 and in Drouot sales (organised by musee MoLA). In 2018 I took part in the Salon des Artistes Indépendants in the Grand Palais (Paris). I regularly take part in exhibitions in Russia.
