“LAST WISH” Before my sister past away she asked me if I would paint her a painting. So she over some time collected artificial flowers, she bought canvas and already had a frame for it. Last time she was at my apartment Ulyana saw green pitcher I had and sad “That’s one I want for my painting”. Sometimes this past August I asked my brother in law Peter how he was doing and after short conversation He sad that he keeps looking at the flowers she arranged and asked If I would still complete what she started and it was important for him to see it through. I agreed and for the first week I couldn’t even lift my arm to start it. It was one of the hardest emotionally things I had to do. I am finally finished it here’s my conclusion. When I lost Ulyana last thing I remember is funeral, loss and separation. God left this one last wish for me to do later on purpose so this painting is what I remember about her. She loved flowers more then anything. She would pick the most unmatchable ones and put them together. Just like we all are. We all so different from each other in every way but we all belong together. God makes impossible combinations of people into powerful allies. She loved people just like they are- different. Which is unconditional love. She was a beautiful and fragile flower herself. Beauty that short leaved but everlasting in memory. I will never know if she would’ve liked my painting but I have better way to remember her by “Her wish”
