Let it explode Print

With this work I wanted to represent a little bit of the Spanish culture. Spain is very known all over the world for the regional dance 'flamenco', and even though most of Spanish people don't feel identified with it, many countries still see us that way... Actually, flamenco is the traditional dance in Andalucía (South of Spain), and in the rest of regions it's not as popular as its considered. Fireworks are also very common in this country, that's why I added a peculiar and somehow surreal dancing partner to the scene. The woman silhouette is worked with paper and acrylic paint after a scraping process on the wooden panel. 'Let it explode' was a sudden idea with unexpected funny results.
