ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The visual language of this artwork is weaving and tying using lines as if weaving cloth. It is a language of communication where the inside and outside communicate between the weft and the warp. Through the physical work of cutting, weaving, and tying painted fabrics, Life is about having various relationships and it is expressed that it creates an unimaginable panorama by weaving various things. As with our lives, countless weft and warp threads intersect in the work, representing on organicity and complexity. Small spaces created by cutting, weaving, and tying using scissors and knives become breaths and communicate with the world. On top of the unique texture resulting from it, all moments and experiences of the inner emotions and daily life are expressed in colors.Although it is a flat painting, it also gives a sculptural image with heights, volumes, and small spaces.

I studied textiles&clothing in college and worked as a clothing designer. Based on my experience as a designer, I am working on painting in a unique way by weaving and coloring various experiences and emotions that I experience while living. As with our lives, countless weft and warp threads intersect in the work, representing organicity and complexity. In addition, the horizontal and vertical knots that occur when weaving express the process in which the individual's inner world and the outside world relate and communicate with each other. Even if it is a similar routine that repeats every day, if you look at it with a more sensitive sense, different precious moments and emotions are expressed in various colors in the work. I hope that various colors and unique textures will become closer lively and harmonize with the experiences of those who watch the work and create a new story.
