This striking work is composed of layers of fine sublimations mounted on translucent textiles. The effect of the overlapping of the layers generates a play of light and movement that recalls the Californian Art and Space movement of the 60+s. Nicolás Longo´s series of “Loading…” uses corrupted images to explore the binomial “Connected vs. Disconnected” as a political dilemma: as if removed from digital screens, these paintings rendered on translucent layered polymers reference an imaginary seen from third world economies.
