ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Grigol Robakidze is one of my favorite Georgian writers, publicist, and public figure primarily known for his prose and anti-Soviet émigré activities. He had a huge impact on me and my worldview. I studied his works both in Georgian and in German. His novels were published throughout Europe. Due to the fact that during his life he often changed pseudonyms, one of his works (which only a select few knew about) was lost. With my painting I wanted to try to bring back to life the lost manuscript.

After his artistic experimentation he began his exhibition activity with numerous competitions, reviews, and collective and personal national and international exhibitions. He collaborates with various contemporary art galleries. A vast production, with works present in private collections and public collections. His main interests are an aspects of symbolism and mysticism.
