'Lover's Lane' When lovers close their eyes, the world goes blind. Or so they think. This is an abstract look at the lovers meeting in a secluded place. Look deeper, you may find other tales unfolding here. About Myself: I am an artist creating fun tales in color. Inspiring the viewer to dream. What if...? I am inspired by fables from myriad cultures around the world. Painting is an act of meditation for me. I use figurative abstracts to tell my stories. My art style has evolved from years of illustrating comics and stories. I am influenced by the works of Picasso, Paul Klee, Chagall, and Arshile Gorkey. I use acrylics on canvas to create layers of abstract expressions. I often use allegories and symbols in my narratives. While I work, unintended characters join the story across the canvas, weaving yarns of their own.
