Recent paintings give a touchdown of the of a whole cultural phenomenon surrounding the ephemeral in life.......And appreciating a certain dissonance in aesthetics....Commentary on sexual culture, pleasure, anxiety, glamour, street talks are boldly spelt out in my work: in texts or image. The works represent a whole new cultural revolution, which still runs presently This is pretty relative to my youthful background, spitting out our culture and what we think is cool. My inspiration is gathered mostly around messed up youth, and environments, which is evident in the physical structure I engage in. The composition of the work comes in a similar fashion : nothing makes sense. Torn -out images, texts are mostly evident in my pieces because I think its very simple to communicate with and most people understand them easily. The difference of these images is that they give a sense of a happening. I intentionally blotted out some parts of the images to make them plays around the senses.
