This painting is one of my favorites, because the experiments with color have exceeded all my expectations in it. Here I risked to add to my favorite combination of red and green a shade of turquoise that spilled as rivers over this wonderful picture, as well as a drop of succulent bright yellow-green shade that harmoniously arranged in her color accents. This is another work in which I’ve managed to create a new world, a new planet that we’re looking at from above the space. And unlike many other planets - this planet is inhabited. I want to believe that it is inhabited by good magical creatures. What would you call it? And I want to tell you about a series of my works "Magic exercises". Let’s start with a simple thing — an explanation of the title of the series. Why "Magic"? First, because these works are drawn almost by themselves, the artist is only a guide: he chooses the combination of colors and sets the direction of the colors flowing. Secondly, the result of each work is always unpredictable and therefore unique, and the process of creating the paintings look like the waiting for a miracle. Thirdly, the luminescent medium is used in a number of works to make them glow in the dark, and that’s amazing, even now, in the world of advanced science and technology. (If I were a caveman, I would definitely think it was magic.) Fourth (and this is the most important factor in the justification of magic) this whole series about the beauty in the little things, about the ability to notice this beauty in the simple daily things. And this skill is a real gift from God, a miracle, which is given to a man, because thanks to this ability man can be happy every day, just open your eyes. Why "exercises"? Because this series were born out of my experiments with colors and forms, and these experiments are still going on. Fluid art has become my meditation, my freedom, my happiness, and I want to share it with you ...

Kristina Vinokur was born in Kirov, Russia in 1993. Like many other lucky people, she managed to turn her hobby (drawing and playing music) into a profession. In 2020 Kristina got married and gave birth to a daughter — Sarah, then she moved to Prague with her family, where she lives and works at the moment. Currently, the main areas in which Kristina works are fluid art, which is dedicated to the series of works «Magic exercises», and also cloud landscapes in various styles. But according to the artist herself — this is just the beginning. "I’d like my art to become my voice, my way of communicating with the world and my way of influencing on it. I’d like to touch on important social and environmental topics, and change the world for the better together with you."
