ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I remember when I saw magnolias for the firs time in Germany in 2014. There was no such trees on the streets in my home city Odessa (Ukraine). And they were absolytely wonderful! They have such magical vibe and somehow make me feel full of hope and joy. Since then every spring I go to the botanical gargen and enjoy these trees blooming. On april 2014 due to Covid pandemic all gardens and parks were closed and most of the time I was sitting at home. I wasn't been able to see my favourite beauties, but I always see them in my heart. So in my painting I want to portray this feeling of hope and joy in every moment of life,that is always inside us, no matter what is going on in the outside world.
