ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I love painting seascapes. The water calls to me. I love the life, light, color, and freedom of movement. Last year my son joined the Army National Guard. When he came home on holiday leave I asked him to pose for a merman painting. I was thinking I would paint a young warrior in training. He had other ideas. So my young merman warrior became a merchef instead.
