ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting was completed in October of 2018 while working on my Associates degree in Studio Arts. It is one of two pieces I created after getting divorced and in the midst of a mental health crisis. During this time I began working with abstract expressionism, the freedom allowed me to emotionally digest where I was going in life. This piece is a colorful, thick oil painting on canvas paper with blue sandpaper matting.
