Mist Print

In 2010 I spent a magical summer in Wales during my residency art project. I used to hike and walk a lot in a picturesque Pembrokeshire. One day, when hiking, I had to stop in the middle of the path. I could not move any further, as the the milky fog all of a sudden enveloped everything in its soft embrace. I could only see a white cotton-wool mass and hear just the beating of my heart, the mist was so dense it was almost cushioning my ears. Standing there in that milky substance felt as if the time stopped. The gravity, time and space no longer mattered. Then, the mist started lifting slowly and the first thing I saw were these two clumps of grass, pointy yet composed, like some kind of wild signposts
