Wing Commander (Retd) Ravi Bedi, Age 85, is a self-taught artist dabbling with paints for many years. He did Chemical Engineering from Banaras Hindu University (June-1962) and joined the Indian Air Force (Jan-1963) more for its blue uniform than any patriotic fervor. His heart was in the creative world: Composing music, writing stories (9 Books published), painting, sculpture, and golf. After retiring from the service in 1989, he took to painting more seriously. Most of his paintings decorate a hotel he owns in town and are in private possession. The Wing Commander lives with his wife of 58 yrs. in the historic town of Jodhpur, in India.
