Professional artist, painter. Born Lincolnshire, England, 1966. Also arts educator, workshops and mural commissions in England and France. Working and exhibiting since 1994 in the UK and in France since 2001, in Paris and Lorraine region. Through paint, etching, drawing and watercolours, expressing the 'synaesthetics' of place. Neither landscapes nor seascapes, I call the works simply 'scapes', an anagram of 'spaces'. Widespread internet presence. Has since 2005 exhibited in most european capitals - Paris, Berlin, Brussels, London - and sold work on all continents, to buyers in Switzerland, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Chicago among many others. Inspired by Claude Monet for his successful 'Giverny Suite' and 'Rouen Cathedrals' series, and equally by JMW Turner for his art-travels along the Moselle and Sarre rivers.
