My name is Mykola Kaftan. I am from Ukraine, I am an artist - animalist. However, I am not only an animalist, because in addition to animals, I also like painting portraits, flowers and landscapes. But drawing animals is something incredible! By drawing them, I become a real magician! Yes, I transform into animals! It's so cool! Today you can be a strong African lion. Other time I can race on the green grass with incredible speed and inhale the smell of freedom on my chest... Guess who I am? Yes, I'm a horse! And next time I am a strict predator and a faithful friend of my beloved sweetheart. I am a wolf, and she - the friend of my life, the mother of my children, my hairy miracle – is next to me ! Then you can be a tiny fluffy cat looking at the first snow, or a pair of storks, which returned after a long flight and were constructing their warm cozy nest waiting for the appearance of cubs. I can still be many animals, drawing these beautiful creatures! And I have a dog, Betsy, a girl. She is 1 year old and I love her very much. She likes to lie next to me when I paint pictures. Someday I will also teach her to draw, and her paintings will cost millions! I have a big family. My wife Ira, my Muse, is always next to me. She is also an artist, and I enjoy watching her creation of masterpieces. We have three children: Ulyanka, Danylko and little Maria. All our children are very creative. I have been painting for many years. I have participated in many exhibitions, various art projects and plein airs. My paintings are in private galleries and collections of painting’s fans around the world.
