ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Five millimeters every hundred years is how long it takes for a rock to dissolve, this process is called Karst. If the temperature and boiling conditions of the water are maintained from the first minute to the last, and the container is kept open, at atmospheric pressure, a liter of pure water will take one hour to evaporate. It can take four weeks for a flower to disintegrate. I like to imagine the landscape and paint its constant abstraction, its irreversible dissolution
