ABOUT THE ARTWORK

You can call me Cryptid. I'm from Siberia. Because of my hyperactivity in everything that concerns creativity, I can not define any framework for my art. It always starts with an emotion or an idea that gives a boost, and I start creating. I have several stories that I will post in the description of my paintings. Sometimes they can repeat themselves, sometimes they can change a little. So if you are interested in learning more about what I create, read the text below each of the artworks carefully. NATURE. Half-human, half-unknown. The mermaid watches the sun set, for her it is like turning off the light in the apartment, this is her reality, and complete harmony. Humanity does not know this, we will be afraid. It's a borderline of horror and warmth, because if you see it in front of you, it will paralyze you. It's like a human and an insect. We can be afraid, and there is no good or evil in it, only nature. There are days in my head when my mind feeds on sunlight. On such days, I can't imagine my art other than the bloom of spring, a fast ride with an open window on a hot day, or a celebration of the drunken summer sunset, with the coming twilight after. But although the echoes of twilight are present, in the spring it is not colored at night, it is not swept by snow. Whereas in dark times, the shadow of the overcast sky comes to my eyes, blinding and distorting my thoughts. I still don't know which of the two opposite states could be the essence of me, maybe on the contrary, solar euphoria is a deformation. But I can say for sure that it does not matter to me, my heart trembles from the light, but it is obvious that without a shadow it could not be known. Please keep in mind that the colors of the artwork on your screen might appear a little different than on the actual artwork. This is because of the calibration, resolution, as well as the lighting. Artwork on paper can be framed or pinned directly on the wall. Or even to paste it on a wooden panel and then hang on the wall. The paper used is solid enough to be pasted. There may be some natural traces of paint / sellotape on the back or on the edges. I ship the paintings UNFRAMED, large items in a protective tube, small ones in a sturdy cardboard box. Rolled works can easily be restretched. But i recommend you send any works on paper directly to your framer for cautious, professional unrolling of the artwork. This handmade artwork will be delivered with a signed certificate of authenticity. Importing artwork into your country may incur additional fees and taxes.

You can call me Cryptid. I'm based in Georgia. Because of my hyperactivity in everything that concerns creativity, I can not define any framework for my art. It always starts with an emotion or an idea that gives a boost, and I start creating. I am one of those artists who can spontaneously start painting on a wave of energy and strength, and i feel empty when they finish. But I can't help but create. Now it could be toys, witches, nudity and vampires, and then who knows. I'm an acrylic and oil artist, but I always strive to experiment, so I can use different materials and mix them. Mediums are just a means of expression, no matter what I draw. In fact, I began to draw when I was a child, graduated from art school , and now the experience of my life is poured out on the paper or canvas every day. I have several stories that I will post in the description of my paintings. Sometimes they can repeat themselves, sometimes they can change a little. So if you are interested in learning more about what I create, read the text below each of the artworks carefully. Comissions are welcome! If you like one of my paintings, but would like it different size or colour combination - please feel free to contact me and we'll make it happen. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions! Life is art
