ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My wife & I spent the winter of 2021 living in a cozy cottage in Old Orchard Beach, on the mid-coast of Maine as we awaited the construction of our new home. While I didn't create much artwork there, it was a goldmine of new subjects and impressions of this wonderful marine environment. I'm using this new content as inspiration for my art now (we finally moved into our new home where my studio is). Other images I've posted here--including my Beach Day series were derived from this experience. I hope you'll enjoy this painting's meditative, slightly mysterious scene as much as I do whenever I look at it.
