ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My grandfather was a pilot in WWII. He flew a bomber. His partner was killed. He did not speak very much. He had a room in the house where he painted. He painted in the Chinese watercolor style. I'm not sure why. I believe that grandparents pass on their knowledge to their grandchildren even at far distances. War is necessary sometimes to strengthen us for this purpose. It's the only way I can make sense of this hell while away my family. When I can do that, I am at peace.
