Fitting room, debit card through, bag and whoopee! Happy again… for a day. In this painting I roll myself in the carpet, naked, while Mick Jagger rides around me on roller skates. This piece from the video clip of Dancing in the street, where pop icon and artist David Bowie also plays a major role, refers to my youth in the 80s, in which I grew up and I look back with many nostalgic feelings.
