ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This piece was inspired by a visit to a creek on a summer afternoon. As usual, I had no real model, only the inner vision of a country girl wading that creek. I felt serene while painting this and hoped to convey a dream-like quality in the piece. I personally love this piece and am reluctant to sell it. It is a portrait of my spirit.
