ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting is built up with layers of paint and mediums and has more depth and texture than the camera can capture. As I was working on it I had the idea of the energy of two opposing forces in mind and it seems that one layer is above the other. The red parts seemed to be the final element and it reminds me of the things going on now with what seems like two sides that can't agree. It is on canvas with painted sides and ready to hang.
