ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting is a product of the extended Covid-19 lockdown. It was a collaborative effort between my husband and myself. We decided to paint together to pass the time. The subject just appeared, as they sometimes do. These are some hard times, and strange. So much suffering from illness to sadness to rage.... I hope to one day look back at this painting and see how we far we've come--and even grown--despite the suffocation. Right now, maybe it's just a message in a bottle...in the ether...a sign.... In a sense, we're still together in lack of escape from all the feelings the madness brings. Hanging in, walking through, until that life thing we used to know is finally renewed.
