I was born in Englewood, New Jersey and raised on Long Island in Westbury, New York. Currently, I reside in New York City and have been living here since graduating from the School of Visual Arts with a BFA. Over the years, I continued studying at the National Academy School of Fine Arts and The Art Students League of New York. My instructors have included: Allan D’Arcangelo, Marshall Arisman, David Dewey, Bernard Olshan, Lisa Dinhofer, Paul Ching-Bor and Frederick Brosen. There are so many fine artists whose work I admired. The most inspiring and influential are Thomas C. Eakins, Winslow Homer, John Singer Sargent, Andrew Wyeth, and J. M. William Turner. Exhibiting since 1995 in both group and solo shows I have recieved several Honorable Mentions and my work has been purchased for corporate collections including Young & Rubicam Advertising.
