I work in acrylic and mixed media on canvas and wood surfaces. My paintings are densely layered, saturated with bright color and high gloss finishes. I began painting in the late 1990s while experimenting with painting on top of my photographs I printed while studying darkroom photography. I have had the fortune of encountering several astounding art teachers, but never went to art school. Instead, I studied psychology, but earned my BA in Dance. Painting has always been a daily practice, a means to process. In that time, I have sold over 800 original pieces to collectors worldwide.
