Dmitry Eremenko is an amateur artist from Mariupol, Ukraine. Traveling around Europe, Dmitry professionally takes photographs, which help him in his relationship with fine art. Dmitry often manages to work plein air in Spain, Ukraine and France. In his works, made primarily using the oil-acrylic technique, the artist depicts still lifes, the beauty of seascapes, sights of the capitals of the world and views of his native Ukraine. Dmitry has been working most actively since 2016. - Since childhood, I loved to draw, but life decided that I needed to graduate from a technical university. I like my job as an engineer. But the desire to draw did not disappear. There was no courage. At one of the master classes on January 24, 2015, I chose my composition of objects for a still life. The Syrian artist praised my work and advised me to start working on my own. It was on this day, during a master class, that my city was shelled by separatists with the support of the aggressor of a neighboring country. People died. This event radically influenced my desire to leave something behind. A year later, while in Spain, I asked my daughter for acrylic paints, bought a canvas and went to the embankment to paint plein air. My first independent work was wonderful, I received a lot of inspiration, returned to Ukraine and began actively drawing. I really enjoy my hobby and I want people to enjoy my work. In 2022, I had to evacuate from my war-torn hometown, I lost my job and my home. Since 2024 I have been and live in Spain, where I continue to actively paint my paintings. My paintings are in private collections in the USA, Canada, Spain, Great Britain, Norway, Scotland, Poland, Armenia and Ukraine. Reproductions of his works are sold in Europe and the United States of America.
