René creates works which highlight those wonders of daily life that go unnoticed; the moments that shape our trajectories but are so minute, they are often times overlooked. His works revolve around ideas about banal events and he views daily life challenges as an altar for meditation and fascination. This fascination translates to pure logical forms like a circles as backdrops or layers to his calligraphy forms, maybe a kind of Glossolalia. The harmonious compositions are a tribute to the passage of time in a person’s life, a life that is shaped by Challenges, Interactions, occurrences, and encounters that color our realities and affects our decision making.
