ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The painting is a part of a series and reflecting on the third lockdown in the UK at 2021. It was another lockdown, we didn’t have a lot of choice what to do in our free time. So like most of the people I was watching Netflix. I was looking for a show what turns off my mind which was full with worries at this time. I found Rupaul’s drag race. I love to see how these men transform to women. I wanted to challenge myself and see If I am able to capture the structure of a man’s face who is looking like a woman with quite a heavy make-up on.
