ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Rave is an original abstract painting using cracking paste, plaster, pumice paste and gel on canvas. Samuel has used contrasting purple and yellow acrylic paints over the top of this surface to create a vivid piece of art. Rave is fixed within a black stained oak frame measuring 44cm x 59.5cm x 3.5cm. Samuel named the painting Rave because of the energy that he has captured on the canvas. He also created a painting called Rave long ago during his Art A-level studies in the same colours which he wanted to recreate.
