About The Artwork
My painting is about waiting while on the airplane in line with several other planes ahead on the runway. Anyone who has traveled has experienced that impatient time of waiting and waiting some more during a traffic jam on the runway and I wanted to communicate the view. The bold graphics on the runway were captured along with another private jet nearby, also waiting to get the go ahead for takeoff. Vibrant shades of pink, red, blue and green make the image whimsical, making light of the situation. The artwork is unframed and finished with neatly painted edges and all the necessary hardware is attached for hanging the artwork.
