ABOUT THE ARTWORK

“Dance of the Yellow Pansies” - oil, canvas, 100x100(cm), artist: Tatjana Cechun, 2024, Vilnius. Made on canvas with oil paints of the professional series "Master class" from the factory "Nevskaya palitra". Single and original author's painting. ♥ This realistic abstract painting depicts a round table with a light, delicate vase filled with bright yellow pansies on it. A white tablecloth with exquisite floral embroidery creates a harmonious background for the floral arrangement. Several more pansies hang abstractly around the vase, as if escaping from reality, against the background of a light, light curtain that adds airiness and lightness to the entire scene. This work evokes a feeling of tenderness and fragility, immersing the viewer in the atmosphere of spring.

I was born in the capital of a small Baltic country in a family of artists 51 years ago. I've been drawing since I was a child, as long as I can remember. I was friends with a neighbor boy whose parents were also artists. That's why he and I grew up in a creative environment. Perhaps such an environment (poets, artists, musicians, artists) influenced my development. I drew always and everywhere, and often automatically (unconsciously) . At the age of 17, after graduating from high school, I, as is typical of young people, was a terrible maximalist. It seemed to me that I already know everything and know how to do everything. My parents wanted me to continue my studies at the Art Academy.
