ABOUT THE ARTWORK

“Realistic abstraction. Good mood” - oil, canvas, 100x100(cm), artist: Tatjana Cechun, 2024, Vilnius. Made on canvas with oil paints of the professional series "Master class" from the factory "Nevskaya palitra". Single and original author's painting. ♥This impressive painting in the style of realistic abstraction depicts a round table on which a light delicate vase is placed, filled with bright and varied pansies. The tablecloth, decorated with floral embroidery, creates a cozy background, emphasizing the beauty of the flowers. Around the vase, other pansies hang abstractly, as if attached to a light curtain that smoothly moves in the air. This composition conveys a feeling of flight and windy lightness, creating an atmosphere of spring magic.

I was born in the capital of a small Baltic country in a family of artists 51 years ago. I've been drawing since I was a child, as long as I can remember. I was friends with a neighbor boy whose parents were also artists. That's why he and I grew up in a creative environment. Perhaps such an environment (poets, artists, musicians, artists) influenced my development. I drew always and everywhere, and often automatically (unconsciously) . At the age of 17, after graduating from high school, I, as is typical of young people, was a terrible maximalist. It seemed to me that I already know everything and know how to do everything. My parents wanted me to continue my studies at the Art Academy.
