About The Artwork
I painted this from the beautiful trees in the morning of the autumn at my university in Kyoto. This is an expressionist/impressionist style painting, and also a nod to color field. I am inspired by Nolde, Gogh, Kahn, and all painters of nature. This is painted on hand gesso cotton paper. It would look very nice inside a white mat in an antique gold or silver frame.
