The Painting was about Long Biên Bridge crossing the red River of Ha Nôi, the capital of Viet Nam, one late night. The bridge is a famous historical icon of Ha Noi Capital, bultt by French Colonists in 1898-1902 and first named Doumer by French Inddochinese Governer - Mr. Pau Doumer. the a metal plate inscribed name of the french Contractor Dayde' & Pile' Paris, marking construction time: 1899-1902 is till existing at the bridge today. This is the first iron bridge built to cross the red river in Viet Nam.
