I had fun with this one, the hidden man was a surprise to me, I’m interested in the spontaneousness of roughing it with heavy impasto painting. The thing evolves on its own and its my job to see it and bring it out into the open! The fat hand is a reoccurring symbol, it’s meaning shifts from, humor to human hand, and giving, as in the care of, and or destruction. Man as creator and destroyer.

I have grown up in Atlanta where I live now. There seems to be not just a few artist exsintrics in my family and I tend to be that unconventional type myself. I attended scad in the 80s and have a BFA. I have been selling art work sense but really cranked up my game about 15 years ago. I paint or create everyday, it's my life! Being as prolific as I am I enjoy several styles, inpiticularly abstract landscape, large abstract color fields and the heavily textured pieces posted. Though the styles are different they have a drawn from nature aspect and color theme I don't seem to be able to shake.
