ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This is another painting from the Horizon series of the "Fall Story Collection". Reddish-brown flaky color that slowly develops from within gorgeous blue skies, as if "degradation" or "corrosion" that can develop in any human. If you look up "rust" in the dictionary, you'll find that it is really just a chemical reaction of iron with oxygen in the presence of moisture. Give it time, and even the shiniest and clean piece of iron will turn entirely into rust. Strong and seemingly everlasting material will turn into flaky, friable, weak. This can be prevented by proper care. This "rust" is just a first sign. Take care of yourself, challenge yourself, keep pushing forward. Don't become "flaky", stay strong. The "Fall Story Collection" was created during Corona's period and is about the grey season when people feel some nostalgia about very special moments in their life... The collection "The Fall Story " has cloudy and pastel tones that telling us about sadness which is nostalgia. Comes ready for hang, Italian Cotton canvas wrapped around the wooden frame, painted around the edges to compliment the artwork and doesn't need framing.

I was born into an extremely creative family in Russia. Art constantly surrounded me (theatre, painting and Metal Art) and impacted my personality and lifestyle. When I was 19 years old, I emigrated from Russia to Israel. Art and aesthetics have always guided and influenced me, and as a result, I studied interior design. During my education I started to paint since I realized that art is an integral part of design. Over the years I have tried many techniques and I found that my favorite is oil/acrylic painting using molding paste to create bold texture. My latest collection that was created by this technique has expressed my feelings in the best way. I am very sensitive to my environment, to what is happening around me and in the world. I am concerned about humanitarian problems, especially those of children. However, the most important theme I have come to focus on in recent years is loneliness - humanity's biggest fear. This theme guides me in my artwork; gives me material for thought and, hence, is reflected in my painting. My workday starts in my beautiful studio where I usually get additional inspiration. The artists who influenced me are Eli Shamir and Boaz Noi (famous contemporary Israeli painters)
