"SEA ON FIRE" Painting by Ivan Lorenzo Artist

I was born in Sesto San Giovanni in the province of Milan, in the first suburbs. I had a somewhat turbulent life, which led me to end up in prison in 2010, where I spent 6 years in drug trafficking. I started to make the first portraits right in the cell, from the photos of my companions' children. it was a way to get away from the context, to "escape". once I went out I found the love of a beautiful woman with whom I had two equally beautiful children. I found a job as a welder and I put aside art until October 2018 where I had a tremendous motorcycle accident that deeply affected me both physically and morally. from that moment the absolute need arose to throw out what I have inside through "painting". I'm carrying around an exhibition entitled "Inside and outside, the courage to be free" where in addition to my works, there are texts and reflections on freedom. Ivan Lorenzo Biography IVAN LORENZO FREZZINI WAS BORN IN SESTO SAN GIOVANNI (MILANO) ON 13.03.1979. IN 2012 HE ACTED IN A COMEDY BY THE DIRECTOR GIANFELICE FACCHETTI FROM THE TITLE "IF THE HEART IS A GYPSY AND JULIET IS ROM" . IT IS ALSO IN THE CONTEXT OF THE PRISON THAT PRODUCES THE FIRST SKETCHES REALIZED WITH THE ONLY INSTRUMENTS AVAILABLE LOCALLY, PENCIL AND SHEET.
