ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Inspired in the powerful image of the Holy Death, I made this portrait of her trying to depict her in a very modern way using neon colours and modern aesthetics as well as using old symbolism when painting her, like the black aura for instance (in ancient Mexico the Death was represented with a black aura) and the red roses as a symbol of being above of it all.

I call my style POP REALISM because is realism with a tender cartoonish touch between r. I'm fearless about expressing myself and my favourite topics are the dark human feelings, where i add lots of colours and try give them a new meaning. Many of my paintings are part of different private collections in North and South America, Europe and Australia.
