Summer of 2018, we were driving around Norway, first visit friend Lisa and families ,It is a city that scattered , I remember I was eating ice cream while seeing swan swimming on the water, free and happy, i like swan ,such a pure and innocent creature, it makes me think of Odette, ballet composed by Tchaikovsky, one of the most popular ballets of all time 2020/06 oil on canvas

Resident in Barcelona, born in Beijing, China in 1982. Zhang Xin graduated from Beijing Forestry University of Fine Arts in Beijing, her mother city. Since a child she learned ballet, fine arts, literature and electro piano. With pursuing her artist career, she studied her master´s degree at Barcelona Autónoma University together with Art and Design Academy EINA, a Master study in investigation in art and design. Zhang Xin is a professional artist, painter and ballet dancer. Zhang Xin is member of China Great Wall Art Foundation, China Great Wall Artists Association, New York Art magazine artist, and SAATCHIART artist. She works with famous brand and prestigious companies, like Saatchi & Saatchi, Versace, Mercedes-Benz, Bank of China, China petrol. She studied art since 10 years old, starting from Chinese traditional painting, then with the desire of developing her art paths, she mastered oil painting by herself with the resources of spending lots of time studying paintings from masters in museums and galleries by traveling Europe. Currently Zhang Xin works on painting collections for exhibitions, her art projects, and giving drawing and painting workshops in Barcelona. She attends social community art events; Cultural and Art activities and promotes exchange between Chinese art and Western art. Zhang Xin is an active artist living, experimenting in Barcelona. For many years Zhang Xin travelled around Europe, Asia, visiting large and small museums, art galleries, art districts, and exchanging ideas and creative views with artists, curators and institutions from different countries. These rich experiences were a source of inspiration during the journey, and an incentive to further study art, experiment art and investigate art. She loves to travel and stage art, as well as experiencing the artistic atmosphere and culture of different countries. Zhang Xin’s own painting style is naturally formed – delicate and rich colors, bold, casual, witty and rigorous. To convey ideas and realities of vision and provoking thoughts. Her creative inspiration comes from depicting and expressing nature as well as from her life, travel experience and living oversea. As a contemporary female artist, Zhang Xin inspires and promotes the interaction and exchange of Chinese art, culture and Western art, culture, and serves as a guideline and central idea to perfect her art style. Her art statement is “artistic expression that reflect my life, visual creation through paints”.
