ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This artwork revolves around a series I made after coming across an interesting roll of vintage wallpaper. The wall paper has been adhered to the canvas and I have drawn then painted various images of animals and birds on the surfaces. The titles have come from songs I like this one being "Set Me Free" by The Kinks 1965 The surface has then been glazed with clear medium for protection. It is 50cm wide x 76cm high x 3.5cm deep. The canvas wraps around the edge.

I am an Australian artist, living and working in my studio in London. My work includes painting, collage, mixed media, prints and installations I enjoy working with the different elements and piecing them together to create some kind of logic and order. My main influences are Peter Blake, Robert Rauschenberg, James Rosenquist, Paul Klee, Joseph Cornell, Nick Bantock, Ray Johnson, James Jean, Raymond Pettibon PLEASE NOTE FROM TIME TO TIME SOME WORKS ARE MARKED "NOT FOR SALE" DUE TO INCLUSION IN AN EXHIBITION OR AN ART FAIR.
