ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Inspired by my walks in an open space preserve near my studio, this oil painting captures the lines, forms and shadows of a stand of California live-oaks in warm and cool tones of gray. The panoramic format of the image is based on a "pano" photograph I took with my cell phone camera.
