ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Norah is fictional character, which is painted in a way to give her an ability to express herself. My wish as a painter is to initiate in people a desire to care for Norah. with this painting Norah wants to sey to the world that Sokhumi is part of Georgia, but its now occupaite by Russia. On her dress (colour of her dress is like the see in sokhumi) we see ''Sokhumi" with Georgian letters. Background is like military pattern, and Sokhumian Norah is wearing Georgian national hat. She's desire is to go in Sokhumi, as now Georgians are forbidden to go there.
