Picasso, Hockney, Rauschenburg, Warhol, are some my inspirations. My art refuses to remain in a box. Though my expression may be varied in media and subjects, most of my underlying core is the same "”relationships.Interations to each other to the world, to memories, to myself. "¨"¨It's his constant dynamic of interchange and shifting energies I am captured by and driven to explore, discovering even more as I create. "” CKW CKW started as an abstractionist, loved the art of Picasso as a very young child, Yet due to her mother's disapproval and artist lineage "” her first artistic forays and training were as a traditional art. CKW's paintings have been collected in private and corporate collections and exhibited around the world."¨"¨ Due to an injury, CKW took a long sabbatical from painting and found when she returned from the entertainment advertising/design world that not only had the art worked changed and old colleagues, that she as well had morphed into a very different artist than she had been previously."¨"¨ Unique painting technique, design, with inventive and conceptual subject matter CKW's work has always bordered the definitions of the art world categories. Her new work moves into a newer realm of less limitations than that the traditional art world."¨"¨ Photography is one large part of CKW's artistic expression and an important element on it's own and combination with oil paintings and and other elements. "In some ways I am starting over from scratch. Lost everything of material value and life plans and must begin again. THIS too has changed me and I find as much as I need roof over my head and food in my belly"”I need art to live. I hope my art resonates to you, engages you and LURES you to savor and allow space to be and opens new thoughts and feelings. Art creates change and I create to connect and be a part of change in this world. "” CKW Education Sergei Bongart 1977-1980"¨ (Full Scholarship, at fifteen ~ the youngest scholarship student of Sergei Bongart) Del Gish 1977-1979 "¢ Max Turner 1978 20 Plus years photo-finisher/Art Director?designer/Digital art innovator.
